TestMasters LSAT Course Reviews

“My experience with TestMasters was an invaluable one and I do not believe that I could have achieved the improvement that I did with any other program. Initially, I was incredibly overwhelmed by the LSAT and discouraged by what seemed to be completely foreign concepts. But the TestMasters curriculum and strategy combined with a phenomenal instructor turned that all around. This program had a significant impact on the way I think overall and it was that fundamental shift that allowed me to approach LSAT questions more successfully. My instructor was genuinely invested in the success of his students and he went above and beyond what was required of his position. While other test preparation companies may try to teach you tricks or shortcuts, Robin Singh’s program has mastered the LSAT to the point where his students edge out their competitors based on a higher-level understanding of the test. Having expert explanations to thousands of real LSAT questions is a powerful advantage for TestMasters students. The online portal and support system beyond the in-class instruction is second to none. I always felt that I had access to personalized help regardless of where I was physically. The progression of this course is meaningfully constructed and if you work hard, TestMasters will make sure you succeed.”

“I can honestly say that my decision to enroll in TestMasters was one of the best in my life and has changed the direction of my career path in the most beneficial ways imaginable. I knew people who took other LSAT prep courses and not only did I enjoy mine more, but I improved much more on my LSAT than anyone else I knew. I started with a 162 and I ended up getting a 177 on my test, a score that I never even imagined I could get. Doing well on the LSAT has left more doors open for me than I ever thought possible. Even though it is only December, I have already been accepted to both UC Berkeley and UCLA, and attending UC Berkeley, the school where my father went, has been my dream for as long as I can remember. TestMasters is an amazing course with a huge amount of resources and teaching methods that are simple enough to understand, but advanced enough to get you the score you need to achieve your dreams. Thanks TestMasters, I couldnt have done it without you!!!”

“In a survey of people I knew who had taken a LSAT prep course, almost all of them recommended TestMasters. My instructor presented the material in an articulate manner but also made the lessons entertaining at the same time. He was able to provide extensive direction and explanations to our class, and always took the time to answer our questions. Even though the classes were long, he kept us engaged and challenged the entire time. In all, with the quality of teaching he provided, I believe that we all developed the confidence to succeed on the test. Additionally, I really appreciated the way TestMasters lessons and homework were written, advocating for a holistic understanding of logic rather than just tips and tricks. I believe it was this standard of learning, coupled with our instructors innate ability to teach the material, that gave me the skills necessary to improve so much from my initial diagnostic. I will continue to recommend TestMasters as a test preparation company because of these essential factors.”

“I had never looked at an LSAT question prior to the first diagnostic of my TestMasters course. My mind stalled when I encountered certain questions and it seemed like I had only about half of the time I would need to complete the sections. My instructor was encouraging from the beginning—she was patient teaching our class the material and reassured us that with time and practice the LSAT is something you can learn and get better at. I was impressed with the amount of practice materials and additional study resources TestMasters has available for students. I believe that TestMasters provides students with everything they need to prepare for the LSAT, and with hard work and focus, I think every student can use the program to increase his or her score. I owe every point of my score increase to the TestMasters system and the support I received from my instructor.”

“When I signed up for the LSAT the first time, I decided not to bother with any extensive preparation. A track record of success on standardized tests convinced me it was not necessary. It wasn’t until the week before the test, when I finally decided to open a prep book, that I realized I was in over my head. I realized the LSAT isn’t something you can just walk into and succeed. Whether your maximum potential is around 160 or there’s a 175+ in you waiting to emerge, I believe the following to be universally true: For anyone who is serious about applying to law school, extensive guided preparation is as indispensable a part of the process as an undergraduate degree.
When I found out I scored a 152, I knew it wouldn’t be the last time I would sit for an LSAT administration. I was serious about applying to law school, but I knew I was nowhere near my potential. I graduated college a few months later, and I decided to devote my entire summer to doing the LSAT right. I didn’t do much research in selecting TestMasters; I read a brief article on the internet about the quality of their instructors and was sold.
Anyone who visits the TestMasters website can see that developer Robin Singh is the best LSAT taker in the world and that the company’s instructors all scored in the 98th percentile or better. Due to conflicts in my personal schedule, however, I had the unique opportunity to receive in-class instruction from four different TestMasters instructors. While their personal styles differed, what was always immediately apparent was the superb quality of the training these instructors receive. They are able to express the material with impressive clarity and precision; they are able to answer questions quickly and effectively and cater the lessons simultaneously to students of all levels; and their dedication to their students’ success is evident from their willingness to give personalized advice after class.
During the summer, I kept up with the lessons, took numerous diagnostic tests, and made use of online resources such as the definitions quiz. There is also a support service students can use to get personal assistance on their homework from actual TestMasters instructors. When I retook the LSAT that fall, I scored a 172. I am currently applying to 16 of the top 20 law schools in the country, and I’m finally pursuing my dream that seemed out of reach just ten months ago. Whether you have no experience with the LSAT whatsoever or you have already begun studying and identifying your weaknesses, I wholeheartedly recommend TestMasters to anyone whose LSAT score is critical to their goals and aspirations.”

“Thanks to TestMasters and my incredible instructor, I am happy to say that taking the LSAT felt like a breeze. The way we broke down the passages and the questions in class really helped me to understand the test better than I ever could have studying on my own. And, with so many diagnostics to practice going through, when it came time to take the real test, I was shocked at how easy it felt. Now I feel confident applying to any law school that I want to attend.”

“The day of my LSAT I ran into an old friend from high school who was taking the test for a second time after having prepped with Kaplan and getting a low score. My friend’s story was similar to so many other stories that Id heard of people using other test preparation services and meeting with disappointment over their results. In stark contrast, TestMasters impressed me on every level: its methods are elegantly refined, its resources are expertly crafted, and its instructors are thoroughly trained. But TestMasters has produced an incredible system, not a magic formula; it will not work well unless you work hard. However, coupled with diligence, I am confident you will score as high as you are personally able and will be in the best possible position when applying for your dream schools. I look back at my decision to take TestMasters and to study its materials thoroughly with absolutely no regrets.”

“I unreservedly recommend TestMasters to anyone preparing for the LSAT. The TestMasters class not only taught me the skills needed to improve my score, but the thousands of homework problems and countless practice tests allowed me to approach test day with confidence. When I opened my booklet on test day, muscle memory took over and months of hard work and great instruction paid off. The thoughtful organization of the material, the phenomenal instructors, and the rigorous homework loads allowed me to get the score I wanted. And I guarantee that with hard work and TestMasters as your guide, you will see an improvement in your score and thereby in your chances at gaining admission to your dream law school.”

“When I told family and friends that I was studying for the LSAT, I was consistently met with the response: ‘Dont worry, Im sure youll do fine.’ I knew this was true, but I didnt want to do just fine on the LSAT. I believe that the TestMasters course truly maximized my potential and helped me get a great score that I can be proud of and that reflects my abilities. My instructor was excellent. Her teaching was thorough and clear, and she was patient and responsive to questions. When taking the test, I found that the methods we had learned in class had become second nature to me. Through TestMasters, I learned and internalized a set of skills that helped me gain the confidence and speed I needed to score consistently and to score well on the LSAT.”

“If someone had told me I would end up scoring a 170 on my actual LSAT after my first practice test score of 153, I would have told them they were crazy. Thanks to TestMasters, that is exactly what I did, and now the opportunities that are available to me are as exciting as they are numerous. I know from experience that TestMasters is not only the best prep course around, but that it will help you reach goals you didn’t even realize were possible. I will be forever grateful to my wonderful instructor for how much effort she put into making sure we understood the logic behind and techniques used for every type of question you will come across on the LSAT. She really taught us how to think like the authors of the questions, so that we could anticipate all of the tricks they try to throw at test-takers. I was so intimidated by the Logical Reasoning section before the course, and by the end of my time with TestMasters I was thoroughly enjoying how easy it was to beat the questions using Robin Singh’s techniques. The proctored practice tests were also an absolute help come test day. I felt absolutely ready to compete and put all my new knowledge to work. I literally walked into (and out of) the test with a smirk on my face because I knew I had an edge over all the people there that did not take the TestMasters course. The wealth of knowledge and confidence that TestMasters gave me was worth every penny and then some. I cannot thank TestMasters enough.”
| Katherine McNamara | UCLA | Before TestMasters 142 | After TestMasters 162 |
“The TestMasters program and my in-class instructor Michael La Masse transformed my understanding of the LSAT in extremely important ways. I am grateful for the class structure and homework format as it kept me in check. I was always able to complete my homework before the next class and felt like it helped me going into the next lesson. Michael kept me engaged in class and went beyond expectations when answering my questions. He was encouraging, respectful, and straightforward in class. If I was confused with a particular explanation he was able to quickly pivot and explain things a new way. He could come up with applicable examples on the spot and keep the atmosphere positive. I would recommend TestMasters to anyone looking to take the LSAT!”
| Darren Pouliot | USC | Before TestMasters 159 | After TestMasters 178 |
“There are three ways in which TestMasters has created an immensely valuable course that rises above the competition. They offer unique and effective problem-solving strategies that enable you to be accurate and swift. They provide you with the best available materials specifically designed to teach, not just throw problem after problem at you. And they have the best instructors, who take the unique strategies and comprehensive materials, and set out to make sure you personally are understanding the concepts conveyed in the lessons. That combination cannot be beat.
Also, my instructor was phenomenal. He not only completely understands the test, but also knows how to explain difficult concepts in ways other people can understand. He’s taught so many people that he can anticipate where you might have a hard time, and goes the extra mile to individualize your preparation to make sure you understand everything. I could not have asked for a better instructor.”
