TestMasters LSAT Course Reviews
| Andre Castillo | Cal State San Bernardino | Before TestMasters 158 | After TestMasters 172 |
“I initially planned to take the LSAT without taking prep classes. I was even registered for the June test, but did not attend after my professor strongly recommended I take TestMasters. Im glad I did. My first diagnostic score of 158 was very disappointing for me. After weeks of instruction that were not only educational and interesting, but also light-hearted and entertaining, I improved dramatically. The last score I received on a diagnostic with TestMasters was a 172—the same score I would receive on my actual LSAT. Had I not taken TestMasters, I would not have had a chance to get into my target schools. Now Im almost a sure thing. My instructor was awesome, and I have no doubt that anyone couldve gotten a great score with the advice he and TestMasters gave me by putting in the time necessary. TestMasters, in my opinion, is required for anyone considering law school.”

“There are three ways in which TestMasters has created an immensely valuable course that rises above the competition. They offer unique and effective problem-solving strategies that enable you to be accurate and swift. They provide you with the best available materials specifically designed to teach, not just throw problem after problem at you. And they have the best instructors, who take the unique strategies and comprehensive materials, and set out to make sure you personally are understanding the concepts conveyed in the lessons. That combination cannot be beat.
Also, my instructor was phenomenal. He not only completely understands the test, but also knows how to explain difficult concepts in ways other people can understand. He’s taught so many people that he can anticipate where you might have a hard time, and goes the extra mile to individualize your preparation to make sure you understand everything. I could not have asked for a better instructor.”

“TestMasters was just the thing I needed to help me with the LSAT. There is no way I would have been able to jump 26 points without them. TestMasters provides you with all the material necessary to significantly improve your LSAT score. The class meetings take a very demanding subject and make it fun. The instructors are very knowledgeable about the LSAT and want you to do well. They are also really good at making the classes enjoyable. All around TestMasters was the best choice I could have made for LSAT prep.”

“Signing up for TestMasters was the best decision that I have made. TestMasters offers you a tested and proven approach to studying the LSAT, excellent instructors, great resources, and full support. You get the opportunity to learn from Robin Singh, you have brilliant instructors who are willing to answer all of your questions during and outside of class as if you were being privately tutored, and you have real tests and questions. I was able to score 171 on my LSAT, an amazing 16-point increase from when I first started studying. I know I could have done even better, which only shows how amazing TestMasters is. At this point, it doesnt even matter if I could have done better, Im done. I did great. And Id like to thank TestMasters for its contribution to this achievement.”

“The TestMasters program and my in-class instructor Michael La Masse transformed my understanding of the LSAT in extremely important ways. I am grateful for the class structure and homework format as it kept me in check. I was always able to complete my homework before the next class and felt like it helped me going into the next lesson. Michael kept me engaged in class and went beyond expectations when answering my questions. He was encouraging, respectful, and straightforward in class. If I was confused with a particular explanation he was able to quickly pivot and explain things a new way. He could come up with applicable examples on the spot and keep the atmosphere positive. I would recommend TestMasters to anyone looking to take the LSAT!”

“Coming away dissatisfied with my performance on my first attempt at the LSAT, I knew that I would need to invest a lot more effort into my preparation the second time around, if I was going to do better. I initially shied away from the price tag, but quickly overcame that hesitation when I learned more about TestMasters methodical approach, and realized that it was the only prep company with consistently positive reviews. I am satisfied more and more with my purchase with each passing day.
I chose the TestMasters self-paced online course because it offered scheduling flexibility while still providing direction and structure to my studies. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful (even on Saturday mornings!), and the materials were straightforward. It is not for the faint of heart, though, as I was spending 15-25 hours a week to complete the abundance of material that TestMasters makes available for review. It also requires discipline to commit regularly the time and effort to the lessons, especially when youre struggling to master a topic that isnt intuitive. However, the payoff is huge when you do. So, although I was definitely giddy when I sat for the LSAT this time around, I wasnt nervous because I knew that I had applied my effort in the right ways thanks to TestMasters; I was ready. My score—an 11-point increase over my first attempt—has more than paid for my investment in TestMasters: schools previously beyond my reach are now contacting me, and the fee waivers that I began appearing in my inbox two days after receiving my score have more than justified the price tag I initially hesitated to pay.”
| Nicholas Palatucci | UC Berkeley | Before TestMasters 160 | After TestMasters 179 |
“TestMasters was the key to my performance on the LSAT. I raised my score by nearly twenty points! My instructor really understood the test and gave his students the tools we needed to beat it. In class we went through each question type in depth so we could understand how it worked. It was much more than just time management and general strategy; we really focused on how to answer each question with confidence. I have recommended TestMasters to everyone who has asked me how to replicate my LSAT score, and will continue to do so.”
| Tess Wafelbakker | Loyola Marymount University | Before TestMasters 142 | After TestMasters 165 |
“My experience with TestMasters was an invaluable one and I do not believe that I could have achieved the improvement that I did with any other program. Initially, I was incredibly overwhelmed by the LSAT and discouraged by what seemed to be completely foreign concepts. But the TestMasters curriculum and strategy combined with a phenomenal instructor turned that all around. This program had a significant impact on the way I think overall and it was that fundamental shift that allowed me to approach LSAT questions more successfully. My instructor was genuinely invested in the success of his students and he went above and beyond what was required of his position. While other test preparation companies may try to teach you tricks or shortcuts, Robin Singh’s program has mastered the LSAT to the point where his students edge out their competitors based on a higher-level understanding of the test. Having expert explanations to thousands of real LSAT questions is a powerful advantage for TestMasters students. The online portal and support system beyond the in-class instruction is second to none. I always felt that I had access to personalized help regardless of where I was physically. The progression of this course is meaningfully constructed and if you work hard, TestMasters will make sure you succeed.”

“I can honestly say that my decision to enroll in TestMasters was one of the best in my life and has changed the direction of my career path in the most beneficial ways imaginable. I knew people who took other LSAT prep courses and not only did I enjoy mine more, but I improved much more on my LSAT than anyone else I knew. I started with a 162 and I ended up getting a 177 on my test, a score that I never even imagined I could get. Doing well on the LSAT has left more doors open for me than I ever thought possible. Even though it is only December, I have already been accepted to both UC Berkeley and UCLA, and attending UC Berkeley, the school where my father went, has been my dream for as long as I can remember. TestMasters is an amazing course with a huge amount of resources and teaching methods that are simple enough to understand, but advanced enough to get you the score you need to achieve your dreams. Thanks TestMasters, I couldnt have done it without you!!!”
| Anna Martin | Claremont McKenna College | Before TestMasters 159 | After TestMasters 170 |
“I am not a good standardized test taker. Acting on the advice of a friend, I turned to TestMasters to prepare me for the LSAT. The TestMasters program exceeded all of my expectations. My instructor went above and beyond to help me, and I never anticipated that level of personal attention or investment from my instructor. The value of TestMasters also derives from the insatiable amount of study material they provide. If you take Test Masters, you will never have to purchase supplemental materials—everything you could ever want or need is available to you at no additional fee. TestMasters made the difference for me, as my LSAT score went up 11 points from my first diagnostic. I am recommending TestMasters to all of my friends, it is truly the premier LSAT prep course.”
| Netta Sofer | UC San Diego | Before TestMasters 146 | After TestMasters 167 |
“My first diagnostic score was 146, which I was very disappointed with! I didn’t know how in the world I would reach my goal of 165. It seemed like an impossibly large gap...imagine my surprise when I got the e-mail from LSAC with a score of 167!!! Of course, I studied hard, and followed the program and all of the recommendations from TestMasters about the days leading up to the test. One of the best recommendations that Robin Singh (via video on the website) gave was to relax on the last couple of days leading up to the actual test. A few days spent without thinking about the LSAT really lets your brain absorb all the information you have been studying for months.
I really like that TestMasters’ philosophy is about doing the work and understanding the questions rather than gimmicks or tricks. If you gain an understanding of what the questions are about, and how to approach the questions, you don’t need to worry about tricks on the test. I don’t think there are gimmicks that will reliably help. The test is all about reading the questions with a critical eye, and understanding the substance of the questions. If you are willing to put in the hard work (and it is hard work!), your score will reflect it.
Still, I couldn’t believe my score had gone up by 21 points. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again!”

“When I signed up for the LSAT the first time, I decided not to bother with any extensive preparation. A track record of success on standardized tests convinced me it was not necessary. It wasn’t until the week before the test, when I finally decided to open a prep book, that I realized I was in over my head. I realized the LSAT isn’t something you can just walk into and succeed. Whether your maximum potential is around 160 or there’s a 175+ in you waiting to emerge, I believe the following to be universally true: For anyone who is serious about applying to law school, extensive guided preparation is as indispensable a part of the process as an undergraduate degree.
When I found out I scored a 152, I knew it wouldn’t be the last time I would sit for an LSAT administration. I was serious about applying to law school, but I knew I was nowhere near my potential. I graduated college a few months later, and I decided to devote my entire summer to doing the LSAT right. I didn’t do much research in selecting TestMasters; I read a brief article on the internet about the quality of their instructors and was sold.
Anyone who visits the TestMasters website can see that developer Robin Singh is the best LSAT taker in the world and that the company’s instructors all scored in the 98th percentile or better. Due to conflicts in my personal schedule, however, I had the unique opportunity to receive in-class instruction from four different TestMasters instructors. While their personal styles differed, what was always immediately apparent was the superb quality of the training these instructors receive. They are able to express the material with impressive clarity and precision; they are able to answer questions quickly and effectively and cater the lessons simultaneously to students of all levels; and their dedication to their students’ success is evident from their willingness to give personalized advice after class.
During the summer, I kept up with the lessons, took numerous diagnostic tests, and made use of online resources such as the definitions quiz. There is also a support service students can use to get personal assistance on their homework from actual TestMasters instructors. When I retook the LSAT that fall, I scored a 172. I am currently applying to 16 of the top 20 law schools in the country, and I’m finally pursuing my dream that seemed out of reach just ten months ago. Whether you have no experience with the LSAT whatsoever or you have already begun studying and identifying your weaknesses, I wholeheartedly recommend TestMasters to anyone whose LSAT score is critical to their goals and aspirations.”
