TestMasters LSAT Course Reviews
| Radhika Bora | Stanford | Before TestMasters 166 | After TestMasters 178 |
“When I enrolled in TestMasters, I had high hopes: I wanted to score at least a 170 on my last diagnostic. I wasn’t sure if I could accomplish my goal, but I was determined to give it my best shot. Through the grueling practice of weekly classes, diagnostics, diagnostic review sessions, and homework, I managed to increase my score from 166 on the first diagnostic to 173 on my final diagnostic. On test day, I scored even higher thanks to my instructor’s tip to review the problems I had gotten wrong—I ended up with a 178 LSAT score. I was over the moon. I definitely couldn’t have done it without TestMasters!”
| Nicholas Palatucci | UC Berkeley | Before TestMasters 160 | After TestMasters 179 |
“TestMasters was the key to my performance on the LSAT. I raised my score by nearly twenty points! My instructor really understood the test and gave his students the tools we needed to beat it. In class we went through each question type in depth so we could understand how it worked. It was much more than just time management and general strategy; we really focused on how to answer each question with confidence. I have recommended TestMasters to everyone who has asked me how to replicate my LSAT score, and will continue to do so.”
| Jordan Zavareei | Duke | Before TestMasters 143 | After TestMasters 169 |
“After scoring a 143 on my initial diagnostic at the beginning of the TestMasters course, I was hesitant to believe my instructor Anthony Meni that I would be able to achieve my goal of scoring in the high 160s. With his continued encouragement and commitment to my success (even outside of class meetings) I saw my diagnostic scores drastically improve.
The TestMasters course also provides incredible resources beyond classroom instruction and one-on-one support from instructors. The recorded videos of Robin Singh working through problems using the TestMasters curriculum were hugely beneficial and gave me the necessary tools to solve every problem. The curriculum truly makes the LSAT make sense.
I ultimately scored a 169 on the LSAT and was accepted into the University of Michigan Law School—my dream school. I’m immensely grateful to Anthony, Robin, and the whole TestMasters team for helping me achieve this goal.”
| Katherine McNamara | UCLA | Before TestMasters 142 | After TestMasters 162 |
“The TestMasters program and my in-class instructor Michael La Masse transformed my understanding of the LSAT in extremely important ways. I am grateful for the class structure and homework format as it kept me in check. I was always able to complete my homework before the next class and felt like it helped me going into the next lesson. Michael kept me engaged in class and went beyond expectations when answering my questions. He was encouraging, respectful, and straightforward in class. If I was confused with a particular explanation he was able to quickly pivot and explain things a new way. He could come up with applicable examples on the spot and keep the atmosphere positive. I would recommend TestMasters to anyone looking to take the LSAT!”
| Michael Sobolev | UC Berkeley | Before TestMasters 158 | After TestMasters 174 |
“Quite simply, there is no better way to prepare for the LSAT then to take a TestMasters course. You might be able to get a 170+ by yourself if you’re a naturally talented logician/reader and have the amazing willpower it takes to study for something like the LSAT on your own. But for all you normal people like me out there, this course will improve your score. And if you take the time to do most of the homework and practice diagnostics on your own once you have a grasp of the methods that the course will teach, your score will improve dramatically! I started off with a score of 158, which was terrible for me because I planned to apply to the top law schools in the nation. By taking the course I was exposed to strategies for dealing with the many different questions types of the LSAT which by myself I never would have bothered to identify and differentiate. All three of the instructors I ended up receiving lessons from were clear, engaging, and made me feel like doing well on the test was very well within my reach. By the end of the course I was consistently scoring in the 170s on diagnostics and ended up scoring a 174 on the actual test. If you are in my position where your score is nowhere near the mark you want it to be at and the idea of trying to crack the LSAT on your own seems like an overwhelming burden to you, take this course! It will be one of the best decisions you will ever make in your professional career should you eventually become a lawyer. It was certainly one of the best decisions I ever made.”
| Annie Rittgers | Dartmouth | Before TestMasters 162 | After TestMasters 177 |
“After signing up for the LSAT, I canvassed a group of friends who had gone to law school to see how they had prepared. There was the guy at work who had taken a TestMasters class and spent endless hours on the homework. And the friend at a party who pulled out his phone and texted ‘TestMasters’ to me when I couldn’t hear what he was saying for a second time. Countless others recommended I check out the TestMasters course, get a TestMasters tutor, or use the online material from the TestMasters site. I have to admit that the resounding support made me curious but also a bit skeptical—how could this place be that good? But after taking the self-paced online course, I agree that it is.
The self-paced course is structured for a comprehensive and efficient review of the material covered on the LSAT. With limited time and an unpredictable schedule, it allows you to focus on specific areas while ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks of your study regimen. I’d recommend this version of the course to anyone looking for a way to study independently on a tight timeline...and would even text TestMasters to a friend at a party if they couldn’t hear me raving about it over the music!”
| Owen Zion | San Jose State | Before TestMasters 146 | After TestMasters 162 |
“If you are thinking about choosing Testmasters to prepare for the LSAT, do it, it is worth every penny! Their instructors are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I did not think it would be possible to improve my score much, but Testmasters proved me wrong! They have a wealth of resources and materials available to you to utilize to prepare. Not only did the class help me improve my score, I enjoyed it as well. My only regret is that I did not take TestMasters before I took the LSAT the first time.”
| Tomas Kisielius | Georgetown | Before TestMasters 159 | After TestMasters 180 |
“The TestMasters course set me up to be primed and poised going into the LSAT. The class sessions provided clear demonstrations of how to approach different types of questions, and the homework and practice drills cemented these approaches. I found the video explanations of difficult review problems to be particularly helpful as I studied on my own, as they ensured that I always understood why I chose the wrong answer. My instructor, Anthony Meni, was an experienced teacher who consistently engaged with the class. He made an effort to know what was going on in the lives of students, which allowed him to give more personalized advice on studying. He always made himself available outside of class to answer questions, and this was especially helpful as I tried to schedule practice tests and review work optimally in the several weeks right before the LSAT. Most importantly, he instilled in me the mentality that should be used to approach the actual test, which helped me more than any amount of content review could have.”
| Nathan Weaver | UC Davis | Before TestMasters 153 | After TestMasters 174 |
“The TestMasters program provided me with a useful framework for answering LSAT questions. TestMasters breaks the LSAT questions up into different categories and has students concentrate on learning to handle them one by one. This makes preparing for the LSAT sections much more manageable and the strategies TestMasters provided were very helpful.
By providing bi-weekly classes, TestMasters made it much easier to manage my time while preparing for the LSAT. When I tried preparing on my own, I found it too easy to put off studying for whatever else came up. Having to show up for regular classes made preparing for the LSAT a priority rather than an afterthought, as it should be for every test taker. As a result of taking the class, my LSAT score went up by 21 points from my first diagnostic. Thanks TestMasters!”
| Nicole Foreman | University of Nevada-Reno | Before TestMasters 148 | After TestMasters 166 |
“I am so glad that I found the TestMasters program and used it to study for the LSAT. It taught me things I never would have been able to grasp through self-study with a limited background in logic/formal argument. Though rigorous and challenging, it is most definitely worth it. My final LSAT score was a 166, putting me in the 89th percentile and helping me receive two full-ride scholarship offers and several almost full-ride offers. I have already recommended the course to a colleague who was struggling with her LSAT studies. Right upon starting the course, she said she saw the questions in a whole new light. I have a lot for which to thank TestMasters.”
| Steven Green | University of Pennsylvania | Before TestMasters 166 | After TestMasters 177 |
“To be honest, I’ve always been wary of test preparation programs because so many of them promise the world and then fall far short on delivery. TestMasters, on the other hand, truly stands apart. When I took my first diagnostic test, I scored a 166. Because I was actually pretty satisfied by this score without any preparation, I wondered how much TestMasters could help. When I received my score from test day and saw that I got a 177, I got my answer. I am very excited about my application possibilities now and I couldn’t have done it without TestMasters.
The key to the program’s success is its total mastery of the test itself. Robin Singh and his team have developed an intensive course that leaves no stone unturned and no concept untouched. No matter what your skill level is when you enter into the program, TestMasters sees to it that you excel. Many test preparation programs teach you tricks to try to get around the questions, but TestMasters teaches you how to beat the test makers at their own game. By the end of the course, I felt like I already knew the answer after reading the question stem. And by the time I walked into the test center and saw other students who were nervous, I was able to relax because I knew that I had been prepared by the best.
No matter what score you start off with, TestMasters can help you reach your goal score and beyond. I can’t emphasize enough how amazing of a program TestMasters is. Forget the other LSAT study guides, forget other prep classes, TestMasters is all you need to destroy the LSAT when test day comes around. I certainly would not have a 177 without TestMasters, and for that I will always be thankful.”
| Samuel Liu | UC Berkeley | Before TestMasters 140 | After TestMasters 165 |
“God only knows where Id be today if I hadnt taken TestMasters. I can tell you right off the bat that I purchased every LSAT prep book out there (the official prep tests, study guides, bibles, etc.) and all they did was collect dust because TestMasters is thorough and the tuition you pay includes materials that are not only extensive but also from actual LSATs. The strategies that you learn are not only sufficient but necessary for your success on the test. If you didnt understand that last statement, its best that you take the course. I told my instructor (aka, the best one ever) on our last day of class that the next thing he heard from me would be a testimonial and I made good on that promise.”
