TestMasters LSAT Course Reviews
| Gretta Moy | University of Toronto | Before TestMasters 152 | After TestMasters 170 |
“I would definitely recommend TestMasters. My experience with the course was nothing but fantastic. During the lessons my instructor gave clear explanations to all of our questions and ensured that each student understood the reasoning for each answer. He was engaging and made the three hours go by quickly. Outside of the lessons, we were encouraged to practice as much as possible and TestMasters provided a wealth of course materials to practice with. Their online platform was useful for easily finding answers to homework and diagnostic tests, as well as providing both video and written explanations to difficult questions. Unlike generic study guides, TestMasters teaches students how to understand the concepts underlying the LSAT questions and prepares students by giving them an excellent strategy for answering them. If youre looking to write a successful LSAT, TestMasters is an essential step to your success!”

“TestMasters came highly recommended to me by several of my friends who are in law school. Ill admit I was very nervous about not studying on my own before class began, but I was able to put those feelings aside and trust the course. On my first practice test I scored a 143. I would have felt dejected had I not known about the big score increases TestMasters advertised. I buckled down and studied every day, doing almost all of the homework and taking eleven practice tests during the course. I found the classes, lessons, and online resources to be exceptional and followed the advice of my instructor. My hard work paid off when I received a 162 on my official LSAT, which is the highest I have ever scored. I am right in the range I hoped for when I started the class (160-165) and am definitely a contender at my goal schools. Thank you TestMasters for helping me score big on one of the most difficult tests I have ever taken!”

“Unlike other LSAT prep courses which try and teach tricks to answer LSAT questions or how to make your best guess, TestMasters teaches you how to find the correct answer every time. They teach you why that answer is right and every other answer is clearly wrong. They dont take any shortcuts in their teaching methods and instead teach you how to think like the test writers. I loved going to my class and this made studying that much easier. My instructor not only took time to answer all of our questions, she encouraged us to challenge her thinking, until it was clear in all of our minds why the correct answer was correct. I ended up raising my score 30 points because TestMasters taught me how to think like the LSAT.”

“The TestMasters formula works; what you put in is what you get out. TestMasters offers you everything you need to improve your score—fantastic course materials, instructors, and practice tests with comprehensive explanations. However, there are no shortcuts in the process. When your instructor tells you in the first class that you need to spend 15-20 hours a week studying outside of class, theyre not lying. You have to be committed to see improvement. The good news is that if you are committed, TestMasters offers everything and anything you need to achieve your goals.”

“I had wanted to become a lawyer since I was ten, but the dream remained distant, and I was unclear as to how I could make it a reality. As I entered university, I became aware of how competitive it was to get into well-reputed North American law schools. I did my research and TestMasters was a company that stood out to me the most in terms of testimonials from a great deal of previous test takers. I was extremely glad that I had chosen TestMasters. The videos featured Robin Singh and he was an amazing teacher! I loved how TestMasters had divided each lesson into separate question types and provided us with detailed explanations as to why certain choices were wrong and why the others were correct. I cannot stress this enough: to increase your score, you must learn precisely why an answer is wrong or correct, and TestMasters completely understood that. I know that TestMasters was a vital and indispensable component of my prep. In conclusion, I want to stress the LSAT is not a test that measures innate ability—you can radically change your score with the right practice and dedication. Thank you TestMasters for helping me realize my dream!”

“After signing up for the LSAT, I canvassed a group of friends who had gone to law school to see how they had prepared. There was the guy at work who had taken a TestMasters class and spent endless hours on the homework. And the friend at a party who pulled out his phone and texted ‘TestMasters’ to me when I couldn’t hear what he was saying for a second time. Countless others recommended I check out the TestMasters course, get a TestMasters tutor, or use the online material from the TestMasters site. I have to admit that the resounding support made me curious but also a bit skeptical—how could this place be that good? But after taking the self-paced online course, I agree that it is.
The self-paced course is structured for a comprehensive and efficient review of the material covered on the LSAT. With limited time and an unpredictable schedule, it allows you to focus on specific areas while ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks of your study regimen. I’d recommend this version of the course to anyone looking for a way to study independently on a tight timeline...and would even text TestMasters to a friend at a party if they couldn’t hear me raving about it over the music!”

“When I first considered taking the LSAT, the thought of studying for such a long and comprehensive test was quite daunting. However, these fears were quickly alleviated once I started my TestMasters class and explored TestMasters’ online resources. The curriculum broke down the LSAT into manageable pieces and the online videos and exercises answered any question that arose. With practice, I became very comfortable with each aspect of the test. On test day, I was totally confident that I would not encounter any surprises because I had already seen and practiced every type of question the test could ask.
Just as valuable as TestMasters’ extensive preparatory materials was the fabulous teaching I received. My instructor was incredibly engaged with the class and always took the time, both during and outside of class, to ensure that everyone understood each concept. His energetic personality and easygoing but effective teaching style made studying for the LSAT far more fun and easy than I ever imagined. He not only taught me the test taking tips needed to ace the LSAT, but, far more importantly, he instilled in me a new, logic-based way of thinking and problem solving. Long after I forget the difference between Type 4 and Type 5 questions, I will still use these new problem-solving skills in many aspects of my life.”

“I improved my score by 23 points from my first diagnostic after four months of studying through TestMasters self-paced online prep course. The course is easy to follow, accommodates different learning paces, and uses repetition to reinforce essential strategies. In my experience, it took several months and 5-10 practice tests before I felt familiar enough with both the material and the experience of taking the test that I understood which building blocks of the course I needed to revisit and fortify. About a month before my scheduled test date, I was scoring considerably below my goal and had difficulty identifying much of a pattern in the question types I was getting wrong. I decided to work with a TestMasters tutor, Megan Giacomantonio, for several one-hour sessions. Megan was incredibly patient, thoughtful and generous with her time. She encouraged me to consistently employ the methodology (i.e. stopping at the stimulus to take it in, actively ID question types upon reading the question stems), which really turned everything around for me. I decided to delay my scheduled test date by a month, and with more practice, I began scoring consistently in the high 160s. I did not reach my goal of 170 until test day. I unequivocally recommend this course to anyone embarking on studying for the LSAT, particularly to folks working full-time. For me, a combination of delaying my scheduled test date by a month and working with a tutor one-on-one was instrumental to my success.”

“TestMasters course structure, analytics, and academic support (shoutout to Megan Giacomantonio) were super valuable. The greatest challenge for me was balancing my own perfectionism with smart time management on the test so I could get to every question, and that is why drilling and practicing timing strategies played a big part in my 22-point score increase. But the tools TestMasters provided are what allowed me to build a systematic and complete knowledge of the test and its content, so I was then able to dedicate my focus to timing.”
| Alyson O'Desky | Wellesley College | Before TestMasters 150 | After TestMasters 170 |
“TestMasters was absolutely fantastic. I was coming out of a great undergraduate school and had a goal of attending a top 20 law school. However my 40th percentile starting point was not going to get me anywhere I wanted to be, so I really have to give credit to the TestMasters course and my brilliant instructor Amelia Brasher for my 20-point score increase. Certainly there was a lot of hard work involved, but the classes were critical to my success. Amelia was always extremely clear in her explanations and made certain that a question was fully understood before moving on. Moreover, she always taught the class with a smile and a great attitude—something much needed in what could have become an even more stressful process. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate the TestMasters prep course. It got me to 170 and made me a competitive candidate for a top law school. Id recommend—and have recommended—TestMasters to anyone taking the LSAT.”
| Kyle Schmitt | Northeastern University | Before TestMasters 143 | After TestMasters 162 |
“I never presumed the LSAT to be a walk in the park, but after taking the first LSAT diagnostic I was seriously overwhelmed and found my score to be much lower than what I was hoping to accomplish. Even though I was discouraged, I resolved to stick out the course and see what happened. I am now confident that it was the best decision I could have made.
I attribute my success to my instructor and the TestMasters program. This course and their instructors are so different from other prep courses because of their approach and the sheer amount of resources given to you. Rather than teaching gimmicks and shortcuts—and believe me there are NO tricks to the LSAT—you are taught how to think and how to apply strategies to every single type of passage and question you may encounter. Not only was my instructor able to tell me why answers were correct, he was also able to explain exactly why all of the other answers were wrong. Because the answer choices sometimes have only slight variations in them, this was extremely useful.
In addition to the in-class hours, TestMasters provides you with extensive homework, supplemental material, and numerous full-length past LSATs. The minute that you have completed a practice exam, a detailed score report is waiting for you. This shows exactly which problems you got wrong and which types of questions they were, providing you with your areas of strength and weakness so you know what you need to work on to maximize your points. As long as you are willing and motivated to put in daily hours of extremely hard work and practice using these resources, you can literally train your mind to think like the LSAT and attack each problem rather than be intimidated.
Looking back on those months of intensive and focused preparation, dedication and sacrifice I now realize that it was all worth it because my score increased by 19 points! Thanks to TestMasters, I can now apply to a wide range of law schools and couldnt be happier. This course is worth all the time and money, and should be recommended to anyone taking the LSAT.”

“TestMasters provides an outstanding product that is extremely useful even for students who have a strong natural aptitude for the LSAT. By participating in class exercises, sticking to the rigorous homework expectations, and working through the practice tests you can be sure that your performance on the real test is a reflection of your best abilities!”
