LSAT Prep Course Options in Annapolis

“I recently took the TestMasters course in preparation for the February exam. This test was a retake since my old score was about to expire. The first time around I took a prep course from a different company. I studied diligently throughout the six-week course and scored a 166... a good score, but short of my goal of a 170.

This time around, I chose to go with another company, TestMasters. I was very impressed with this course from day one. My instructor Steve Hayden was great and I couldn’t believe how much practice material came with the course. I even told a few people after the first several weeks of class that I felt like the strategies being taught in this course were making a big difference in my performance, especially in certain types of logical reasoning and reading comprehension questions that I thought would be the hardest to improve upon.

Then I hit a major road block. I had to go on a last minute business trip for the last two weeks of the course leading up to the LSAT. The trip was so intense that I did not get to do any studying for those last two weeks. I had pretty much decided I wasn’t going to bother taking the test. THE NIGHT BEFORE the test, I decided, ‘What the heck? I did study hard and attend the classes for the first several weeks; I should just take it.’ I’m sure glad I did! I scored a 173 (a seven point improvement!!!). I finished each section with a bit of time to spare. I KNOW that the TestMasters strategies made all the difference in my score. Since getting the results, I have gone out of my way to strongly recommend TestMasters to all of my friends who are considering taking the LSAT. What I learned from this experience is that not all prep courses are created equal. I can’t sing the praises of the TestMasters program enough! Thanks to TestMasters I scored higher than I ever thought I could.”

“As I do not have the strongest undergraduate grades, I needed a good LSAT score to make me competitive for admission into law school. Dorothy was very knowledgeable and quick-witted. She could break apart and analyze any logical reasoning problem on the spot. Every day she volunteered to stay late and answer questions. Aside from her encyclopedic knowledge of everything LSAT, her sense of humor, personality, and confidence make her a very effective instructor. Also, the course materials were a tremendous help. These enabled me to study online at my own pace and focus on areas where I needed improvement. The supplemental practice tests, practice sections, and practice problems organized by problem type enabled me to hone in on my weak points and make the most of the precious little time I had to study.

I truly believe TestMasters maximized my LSAT score. I have not had direct experiences with other LSAT prep courses, but I honestly cannot imagine more from any of them. TestMasters is for anyone who is serious about scoring well on the LSAT.”

“I am a high school math teacher, and that means working incredibly long hours. The TestMasters self-paced online course gave me the flexibility to study with my busy schedule. The online system is very straightforward and easy to follow. After watching the videos accompanying a lesson (usually about three hours), I would then complete the homework. Only after completing the homework can you go on to the next lesson, which ensures accountability and focus. This course would have been hard for me to do in person, but the online system allowed me to break up the lessons into an hour here or there, instead of committing to three straight hours during busy workweeks.
