TestMasters LSAT Course Reviews
| Timothy Alau | UNLV | Before TestMasters 143 | After TestMasters 161 |
“TestMasters is an amazing program that really helps those who are studying for the LSAT. They have a completely comprehensive system that breaks down the test so that every question is manageable. As long as you keep up with the program and do all the homework, TestMasters will give you an incredible edge over the competition!”

“The first thing that I did when I decided that I wanted to apply to law school was to call my best friend’s brother, a successful lawyer, for advice about the LSAT. He gave me a five minute lecture about why I shouldn’t even consider taking any other class besides TestMasters. Even though I’d never heard of TestMasters before, I’d heard plenty of negative things about Kaplan and Princeton Review, including from a friend who’d been asked to teach an LSAT class for Kaplan despite having never actually taken the test, so I decided to give them a shot. I am grateful that I took that advice and I was very pleased with the class and with my experience. My instructor was patient and professional, taking the time to explain the concepts and the TestMasters methods thoroughly. I liked that the TestMasters methods were so clearly thought out and designed to avoid confusion while still allowing you some latitude to do what makes the most sense to you. Likewise, I appreciated that TestMasters draws their abundance of practice problems from actual LSATs so that we could really try to get into the heads of the test writers and understand what they were getting at and what they wanted us to do. Taking TestMasters was the sole thing I did to prepare for the LSAT and I’m certainly glad that it was!”

“I am so glad that I found the TestMasters program and used it to study for the LSAT. It taught me things I never would have been able to grasp through self-study with a limited background in logic/formal argument. Though rigorous and challenging, it is most definitely worth it. My final LSAT score was a 166, putting me in the 89th percentile and helping me receive two full-ride scholarship offers and several almost full-ride offers. I have already recommended the course to a colleague who was struggling with her LSAT studies. Right upon starting the course, she said she saw the questions in a whole new light. I have a lot for which to thank TestMasters.”

“Going into my TestMasters class I was hoping to score 165, and with my less than stellar GPA, sneak into law school at ASU. Well, I walked out of the class with a 171 in my pocket, a chance at incredible schools, and true pride in my performance. I did not think I had that level of performance in me and can honestly say that without my instructor and the TestMasters philosophy I would have far less doors to ponder.”

“I took the TestMasters course with Zac Wendroff from late May through early August. I wanted to take a moment to share how transformative this experience was for me and how grateful I am for both Zac and the TestMasters program as a whole.
I began the course with a 154 diagnostic score. After completing the program and continuing to apply the strategies Zac taught us, I earned a 170 on the September LSAT. I truly feel blessed and incredibly proud of that growth, and I know I would not have achieved it without the structure, discipline, and clarity that TestMasters provided.
Since taking the LSAT, I have been accepted to multiple T14 law schools, along with several full ride scholarship offers. Most recently, I was admitted to Harvard Law School, which I currently plan to attend. It still feels surreal to write that. I remember when Zac first asked our class where we hoped to go, and I was too nervous to even say Harvard out loud because I never thought it was possible. Being able to say it now is something I will never forget.”
| Ryan Curtis | UC Berkeley | Before TestMasters 165 | After TestMasters 178 |
“Thanks to TestMasters, I felt completely prepared for the LSAT on test day. They provided more than enough help on every section of the test and gave tips that were invaluable. The instructors were very supportive and always willing to go out of their way to answer every question. Taking the TestMasters course definitely prepared me better than any book could have.”
| Kushal Shah | University of Arizona | Before TestMasters 152 | After TestMasters 172 |
“My experience with TestMasters was fantastic. As a student with a 100% science background I always struggled with reading, especially reading comprehension sections on standardized tests. The TestMasters program helped me excel on the LSAT. I started with a score in the low 150s, but after about 5 months of practice and hard work while balancing a full time graduate coursework I was able to get a 172 on my second attempt, which landed me a full ride scholarship to a school I wanted to go to. It is a great program if you put the work in.”
| Michelle Mufich | USC | Before TestMasters 161 | After TestMasters 175 |
“I would recommend TestMasters to anyone preparing for the LSAT. My instructor was incredibly helpful, the materials were clear and well organized, and the sheer volume of LSAT material they provide will definitely help you increase your score. After doing all of the homework and taking all seven supplemental exams, I went from a 161 on my first practice exam to a 175 on the actual test. I can honestly say TestMasters is the best LSAT course to take and was worth every penny!”
| Aisha Alcaraz Lowden | Arizona State | Before TestMasters 134 | After TestMasters 156 |
“Taking TestMasters was a great experience. My instructor Dorothy Moneymaker went beyond teaching just the methodologies that make you successful on the LSAT. She made the class a fun environment to learn in, and truly cared about my experience by making my improvement her number one priority. After the first diagnostic test, I thought there was no hope for me, but she found my weak spots and encouraged me to keep trying. With determination and dedication to the lessons and homeworks you will see an improvement in your score. The payout of a 22-point improvement from all of the hard work I put in was totally worth it!”
| Sophie Gebhardt | George Washington University | Before TestMasters 160 | After TestMasters 173 |
“My experience with TestMasters was great, and I truly believe it helped move the needle and get me into my top school. I started with the asynchronous online course and felt that it helped hone my skills and learn the LSAT inside and out. The TestMasters team was extremely accessible and helpful whenever questions did arise. Robin Singh personally dedicated significant time to reviewing questions and giving advice both in advance of my test and after I received my score, and his guidance was invaluable.
After my LSAT course, I used the admissions consulting program. Chris Tucker was extremely helpful in reviewing and refining my personal statement and supplemental essays and got me to a point where I felt very confident and ready to submit my applications. TestMasters was there with me through every stage of the application process and played a vital role in helping me get into my top school with a substantial scholarship. I am so grateful to the TestMasters team and extremely satisfied in my decision to participate in the LSAT prep course and the admissions consulting program.”
| Katherine McNamara | UCLA | Before TestMasters 142 | After TestMasters 162 |
“The TestMasters program and my in-class instructor Michael La Masse transformed my understanding of the LSAT in extremely important ways. I am grateful for the class structure and homework format as it kept me in check. I was always able to complete my homework before the next class and felt like it helped me going into the next lesson. Michael kept me engaged in class and went beyond expectations when answering my questions. He was encouraging, respectful, and straightforward in class. If I was confused with a particular explanation he was able to quickly pivot and explain things a new way. He could come up with applicable examples on the spot and keep the atmosphere positive. I would recommend TestMasters to anyone looking to take the LSAT!”
| Annie Rittgers | Dartmouth | Before TestMasters 162 | After TestMasters 177 |
“After signing up for the LSAT, I canvassed a group of friends who had gone to law school to see how they had prepared. There was the guy at work who had taken a TestMasters class and spent endless hours on the homework. And the friend at a party who pulled out his phone and texted ‘TestMasters’ to me when I couldn’t hear what he was saying for a second time. Countless others recommended I check out the TestMasters course, get a TestMasters tutor, or use the online material from the TestMasters site. I have to admit that the resounding support made me curious but also a bit skeptical—how could this place be that good? But after taking the self-paced online course, I agree that it is.
The self-paced course is structured for a comprehensive and efficient review of the material covered on the LSAT. With limited time and an unpredictable schedule, it allows you to focus on specific areas while ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks of your study regime. I’d recommend this version of the course to anyone looking for a way to study independently on a tight timeline...and would even text TestMasters to a friend at a party if they couldn’t hear me raving about it over the music!”
