TestMasters LSAT Course Reviews

Timothy Alau | UNLV Before TestMasters 143 After TestMasters 161

“TestMasters is an amazing program that really helps those who are studying for the LSAT. They have a completely comprehensive system that breaks down the test so that every question is manageable. As long as you keep up with the program and do all the homework, TestMasters will give you an incredible edge over the competition!”

Antonio Raimundo | UCLA Before TestMasters 157 After TestMasters 170

“TestMasters is a solid, well-executed, and professional program. On my first practice LSAT, I got a 157. On the real thing, two months later, I got a 170. I would not have increased my score by that much if it weren’t for the TestMasters program. My advice for people who are going to take the LSAT and enroll in TestMasters to prepare for it is the following:

1. Take it as seriously as you can. I say ‘as you can’ because not everyone can dedicate the same amount of time to studying for the LSAT. I was lucky because I was unemployed and my girlfriend was away for 2 months — I literally had nothing to do but study for the exam. I know a lot of other people had jobs or school to contend with, and that eats up a lot of time. Give as much time as you can to studying — you owe it to yourself to do as well as you can on this exam as you are capable of. The LSAT is a big, big deal and your score on it matters.

2. Focus on what you need to work on. Part of what got me a high score was focusing on the things I found toughest and skipping other material that I didn’t have as many problems with. With a more prudent timeline (my 2 months to prepare for the LSAT was cutting it close), it is better to study everything TestMasters throws at you. But in reality, most people don’t have that kind of time.

3. On test day, as Robin Singh said, you’ve got to work harder than you’ve ever worked before. Plain as it may sound, that advice helped me on the day of the test. You’ve really got to show up.

Hope this helps!”

Gretchen Corey | Arizona State Before TestMasters 160 After TestMasters 169

“I would unconditionally recommend TestMasters to anyone taking the LSAT. Prior to taking the TestMasters class, I took a class at Princeton Review. I found TestMasters to be superior in every way. Princeton Review taught tips and tricks on answering LSAT questions, while TestMasters taught a method that allows you to truly understand the questions, making any LSAT question approachable. My instructor at Princeton Review had never even taken the LSAT, while my TestMasters instructor has scored in the 99th percentile, and was competent and engaging in the classroom. Additionally, as I was going through the Princeton Review class, I felt like I never had enough material to keep me busy, and was left feeling unprepared and wanting more practice. On the contrary, the TestMasters materials were comprehensive, and more than enough homework and practice problems were provided keeping me busy right up until the exam. I definitely felt confident and prepared going into the LSAT. Thanks to TestMasters, I now have a competitive score for the law school application process. I couldn’t have done it without you!”

Darren Pouliot | USC Before TestMasters 159 After TestMasters 178

“There are three ways in which TestMasters has created an immensely valuable course that rises above the competition. They offer unique and effective problem-solving strategies that enable you to be accurate and swift. They provide you with the best available materials specifically designed to teach, not just throw problem after problem at you. And they have the best instructors, who take the unique strategies and comprehensive materials, and set out to make sure you personally are understanding the concepts conveyed in the lessons. That combination cannot be beat.”

Nicole Foreman | University of Nevada-Reno Before TestMasters 148 After TestMasters 166

“I am so glad that I found the TestMasters program and used it to study for the LSAT. It taught me things I never would have been able to grasp through self-study with a limited background in logic/formal argument. Though rigorous and challenging, it is most definitely worth it. My final LSAT score was a 166, putting me in the 89th percentile and helping me receive two full-ride scholarship offers and several almost full-ride offers. I have already recommended the course to a colleague who was struggling with her LSAT studies. Right upon starting the course, she said she saw the questions in a whole new light. I have a lot for which to thank TestMasters.”

Vincent Barnes | University of Florida Before TestMasters 163 After TestMasters 180

“When I started the TestMasters live online course I scored a 163 on my first diagnostic test. The expert guidance of my TestMasters instructor combined with the nearly endless study resources they provided, including thousands of questions and explanations, gave me what I needed to obtain a 17-point increase and a 180 on the real LSAT! TestMasters was instrumental in my journey to a perfect LSAT score of 180.”

Kushal Shah | University of Arizona Before TestMasters 152 After TestMasters 172

“My experience with TestMasters was fantastic. As a student with a 100% science background I always struggled with reading, especially reading comprehension sections on standardized tests. The TestMasters program helped me excel on the LSAT. I started with a score in the low 150s, but after about 5 months of practice and hard work while balancing a full time graduate coursework I was able to get a 172 on my second attempt, which landed me a full ride scholarship to a school I wanted to go to. It is a great program if you put the work in.”

Katherine McNamara | UCLA Before TestMasters 142 After TestMasters 162

“The TestMasters program and my in-class instructor Michael La Masse transformed my understanding of the LSAT in extremely important ways. I am grateful for the class structure and homework format as it kept me in check. I was always able to complete my homework before the next class and felt like it helped me going into the next lesson. Michael kept me engaged in class and went beyond expectations when answering my questions. He was encouraging, respectful, and straightforward in class. If I was confused with a particular explanation he was able to quickly pivot and explain things a new way. He could come up with applicable examples on the spot and keep the atmosphere positive. I would recommend TestMasters to anyone looking to take the LSAT!”

Bryan Ikegami | Claremont McKenna College Before TestMasters 146 After TestMasters 170

“I have taken TestMasters twice, five years apart, and have seen remarkable improvement on both occasions. The first time I improved 18 points, and the second time I improved another 6 points. TestMasters adds its greatest value on test day when you feel rattled from a previous section or fatigued near the end of the test. You tend to fall back on your natural tendencies in moments like that. However, due to the techniques I learned and repetition I performed in the course, my natural tendencies were the correct ones. My most recent performance on the LSAT has already helped me gain entrance into a top ten school!”

Aisha Alcaraz Lowden | Arizona State Before TestMasters 134 After TestMasters 156

“Taking TestMasters was a great experience. My instructor Dorothy Moneymaker went beyond teaching just the methodologies that make you successful on the LSAT. She made the class a fun environment to learn in, and truly cared about my experience by making my improvement her number one priority. After the first diagnostic test, I thought there was no hope for me, but she found my weak spots and encouraged me to keep trying. With determination and dedication to the lessons and homeworks you will see an improvement in your score. The payout of a 22-point improvement from all of the hard work I put in was totally worth it!”

Jordan Zavareei | Duke Before TestMasters 143 After TestMasters 169

“After scoring a 143 on my initial diagnostic at the beginning of the TestMasters course, I was hesitant to believe my instructor Anthony that I would be able to achieve my goal of scoring in the high 160s. With his continued encouragement and commitment to my success (even outside of class meetings) I saw my diagnostic scores drastically improve.

The TestMasters course also provides incredible resources beyond classroom instruction and one-on-one support from instructors. The recorded videos of Robin working through problems using the TestMasters curriculum was hugely beneficial and gave me the necessary tools to solve every problem. The curriculum truly makes the LSAT make sense.

I ultimately scored a 169 on the LSAT and was accepted into the University of Michigan Law School—my dream school. I’m immensely grateful to Anthony, Robin, and the whole TestMasters team for helping me achieve this goal.”

Ritu Ghai | UC Berkeley Before TestMasters 159 After TestMasters 175

“I think TestMasters definitely contributed heavily to me raising my score 16 points between my first diagnostic and my actual score. The way the class was structured and the amount of material offered really helped me adopt the thought process the LSAT requires. My instructor relayed the material really well and was able to answer any questions I had thoroughly. I definitely never expected to get a 175 on the test, especially when I first began the class. Although my last few diagnostics were representative of my actual score, I didn’t expect to be able to score that well on the actual test. I think TestMasters prepared me really well to take the test like I would take a diagnostic.”
