TestMasters LSAT Course Reviews
| Nicole Foreman | University of Nevada-Reno | Before TestMasters 148 | After TestMasters 166 |
“I am so glad that I found the TestMasters program and used it to study for the LSAT. It taught me things I never would have been able to grasp through self-study with a limited background in logic/formal argument. Though rigorous and challenging, it is most definitely worth it. My final LSAT score was a 166, putting me in the 89th percentile and helping me receive two full-ride scholarship offers and several almost full-ride offers. I have already recommended the course to a colleague who was struggling with her LSAT studies. Right upon starting the course, she said she saw the questions in a whole new light. I have a lot for which to thank TestMasters.”

“When I told family and friends that I was studying for the LSAT, I was consistently met with the response: ‘Dont worry, Im sure youll do fine.’ I knew this was true, but I didnt want to do just fine on the LSAT. I believe that the TestMasters course truly maximized my potential and helped me get a great score that I can be proud of and that reflects my abilities. My instructor was excellent. Her teaching was thorough and clear, and she was patient and responsive to questions. When taking the test, I found that the methods we had learned in class had become second nature to me. Through TestMasters, I learned and internalized a set of skills that helped me gain the confidence and speed I needed to score consistently and to score well on the LSAT.”
| Timothy Alau | UNLV | Before TestMasters 143 | After TestMasters 161 |
“TestMasters is an amazing program that really helps those who are studying for the LSAT. They have a completely comprehensive system that breaks down the test so that every question is manageable. As long as you keep up with the program and do all the homework, TestMasters will give you an incredible edge over the competition!”
| Libby Whittemore | University of Oregon | Before TestMasters 148 | After TestMasters 166 |
“I went into my TestMasters class absolutely terrified. My performance on the first diagnostic test made me doubt whether I even wanted to be a lawyer. But about halfway through the class I realized I was making significant headway thanks to the hands-on instruction my TestMasters instructor gave me. It was a challenging and frustrating class at times, but in the weeks before the LSAT I became calm and confident, and as a result of all the work I did with TestMasters, my actual LSAT score amazed me—I thought I might improve 8 or 10 points, but I improved 18. Now I am getting letters from schools like UCLA, Duke, and the University of Virginia congratulating me on my score and inviting me to apply for free. I never thought I’d be one to write one of these testimonials, but I never could have done this without TestMasters. TestMasters buys the rights to all previous LSAT questions and uses those in class and on the homework to teach students what they can really expect to see on the LSAT. By the end of the class, we had seen every LSAT question in existence and spent 6 hours each week with our instructor. If I can give future LSAT takers a piece of advice, it’s to remain calm, trust that you will learn the material in time, and take TestMasters over other courses because it’s more than worth the money and the time you put into it.”

“When I enrolled in TestMasters, I had high hopes: I wanted to score at least a 170 on my last diagnostic. I wasn’t sure if I could accomplish my goal, but I was determined to give it my best shot. Through the grueling practice of weekly classes, diagnostics, diagnostic review sessions, and homework, I managed to increase my score from 166 on the first diagnostic to 173 on my final diagnostic. On test day, I scored even higher thanks to my instructor’s tip to review the problems I had gotten wrong—I ended up with a 178 LSAT score. I was over the moon. I definitely couldn’t have done it without TestMasters!”
| Charlie Baser | University of Montana | Before TestMasters 150 | After TestMasters 172 |
“I went into my TestMasters class having never looked at a single LSAT question before. After the first diagnostic, I was terrified—I had always done well on standardized tests and a 150 was not where I thought I would be. Thankfully, my instructor Laura Ferro was incredible. She explained concepts and answered questions thoroughly from many different angles and helped me work through problem areas. Even when I doubted myself or questioned my ability to get where I wanted to be, she had complete confidence in me.
The TestMasters materials were a phenomenal resource. I never ran out of material to practice on despite what seemed like endless hours of studying. I also really appreciated TestMasters’ approach—no gimmicks or tricks, just learning the skills you need to understand and correctly answer questions.
When I walked into the testing center on the day I took the LSAT, I knew that I could tackle any question that was thrown at me. It was a complete turnaround from how I felt on that first day of class and TestMasters helped me get there. I just got my score back a few days ago—172! I moved up 22 points from my score on my first diagnostic, something I wasn’t sure was possible. I would recommend TestMasters to any friend of mine preparing to take the LSAT.”

“If you are thinking about choosing Testmasters to prepare for the LSAT, do it, it is worth every penny! Their instructors are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I did not think it would be possible to improve my score much, but Testmasters proved me wrong! They have a wealth of resources and materials available to you to utilize to prepare. Not only did the class help me improve my score, I enjoyed it as well. My only regret is that I did not take TestMasters before I took the LSAT the first time.”
| Antonio Raimundo | UCLA | Before TestMasters 157 | After TestMasters 170 |
“TestMasters is a solid, well-executed, and professional program. On my first practice LSAT, I got a 157. On the real thing, two months later, I got a 170. I would not have increased my score by that much if it weren’t for the TestMasters program. My advice for people who are going to take the LSAT and enroll in TestMasters to prepare for it is the following:
1. Take it as seriously as you can. I say ‘as you can’ because not everyone can dedicate the same amount of time to studying for the LSAT. I was lucky because I was unemployed and my girlfriend was away for 2 months — I literally had nothing to do but study for the exam. I know a lot of other people had jobs or school to contend with, and that eats up a lot of time. Give as much time as you can to studying — you owe it to yourself to do as well as you can on this exam as you are capable of. The LSAT is a big, big deal and your score on it matters.
2. Focus on what you need to work on. Part of what got me a high score was focusing on the things I found toughest and skipping other material that I didn’t have as many problems with. With a more prudent timeline (my 2 months to prepare for the LSAT was cutting it close), it is better to study everything TestMasters throws at you. But in reality, most people don’t have that kind of time.
3. On test day, as Robin Singh said, you’ve got to work harder than you’ve ever worked before. Plain as it may sound, that advice helped me on the day of the test. You’ve really got to show up.
Hope this helps!”
| Emma Fleming | Arizona State | Before TestMasters 161 | After TestMasters 171 |
“I took a TestMasters class in preparation for the February LSAT. I did not use any materials except those provided by TestMasters and I was thrilled to achieve a 171 on my LSAT, one point higher than my target score. I wholeheartedly recommend TestMasters and believe their program was instrumental to my success.
TestMasters provides students with in-class work, homework, and practice LSATs to prepare you for the actual test. The instructor who taught my class was fantastic. She helped each class member understand every example in the materials. For homework, TestMasters provides thousands of LSAT questions that are all divided into ‘question types’, so if I was ever struggling with a certain kind of question I could easily find and practice similar questions. TestMasters also provides an academic support service where their instructors will explain any question you might have between class sessions. The practice tests were very helpful in that they taught me how to persevere through a lengthy exam, and I could track my progress through their detailed score reports.
Another thing I like about TestMasters in particular is that they do not stray from the questions that have appeared on the LSAT, whereas some other companies try to write their own cute and funny LSAT-like questions. I feel like the best preparation for the LSAT is studying questions from the LSAT itself.
The LSAT is such an important step for anyone considering law school and if you would like to take the LSAT you should do it right. I can’t imagine any program being better suited toward this end than TestMasters.”

“There are three ways in which TestMasters has created an immensely valuable course that rises above the competition. They offer unique and effective problem-solving strategies that enable you to be accurate and swift. They provide you with the best available materials specifically designed to teach, not just throw problem after problem at you. And they have the best instructors, who take the unique strategies and comprehensive materials, and set out to make sure you personally are understanding the concepts conveyed in the lessons. That combination cannot be beat.
Also, my instructor was phenomenal. He not only completely understands the test, but also knows how to explain difficult concepts in ways other people can understand. He’s taught so many people that he can anticipate where you might have a hard time, and goes the extra mile to individualize your preparation to make sure you understand everything. I could not have asked for a better instructor.”
| Jill Randolph | University of Idaho | Before TestMasters 144 | After TestMasters 162 |
“Without TestMasters I never would have received a 162 on my LSAT—an EIGHTEEN point increase! TestMasters gave me all the tools to break down the question types and feel confident to tackle each section. The instructor was able to explain and provide examples so that everyone in my diverse class was able to understand as well as make studying for this test enjoyable—something I never thought I would say! TestMasters made me feel completely confident walking into the day of the test. I’m recommending this course to everyone who wants to go to law school!”
| Nicholas Palatucci | UC Berkeley | Before TestMasters 160 | After TestMasters 179 |
“TestMasters was the key to my performance on the LSAT. I raised my score by nearly twenty points! My instructor really understood the test and gave his students the tools we needed to beat it. In class we went through each question type in depth so we could understand how it worked. It was much more than just time management and general strategy; we really focused on how to answer each question with confidence. I have recommended TestMasters to everyone who has asked me how to replicate my LSAT score, and will continue to do so.”
