TestMasters LSAT Course Reviews
| Scott Roberts | Bucknell University | Before TestMasters 148 | After TestMasters 165 |
“The aspect that really appears to distinguish TestMasters from other LSAT prep companies is the thought they put into the design and execution of their course. This not only includes a well-designed schedule of classes and diagnostic tests, but due diligence with regard to the selection of their instructors. A friend of mine who took Kaplan said he felt like he was wasting his money because the instructor was basically reading out of the book. TestMasters instructors have had success themselves on the LSAT, and teach you the questions in a substantive, explanatory manner, without simply just giving you the right answer. Add to this the wealth of practice materials and score breakdowns they provide and you’ve got the premier LSAT preparation course out there!”

“When I asked two friends who are now enrolled at Columbia Law School which prep course to take, they answered unequivocally: TestMasters. So I signed up for their late summer course to prepare for the October LSAT. My instructor was fun, smart, and engaging; most importantly, he could convincingly explain the correct answer to any question thrown at him. The TestMasters course made it easy to identify the types of questions I needed to focus on, but also ensured I got enough practice in all areas. Furthermore, all the questions used in lessons and homework are from past LSATs, which meant there were no surprises on the real thing. TestMasters had a good balance of in-class instruction with individual attention when needed. The course resources and academic support provide explanations for those questions which might not be covered during the lessons. I have no regrets about taking TestMasters–they helped me exceed my target score by several points!”

“My TestMasters teacher was so great. Not only was he completely clear with his explanations of LSAT questions, but he was really funny and kept the entire class entertained. If I hadnt taken the TestMasters course, I would probably now be applying to a whole different caliber of schools. Getting my LSAT score back and achieving way past my goal was well worth the time and effort that I put into the course.”

“TestMasters was incredibly helpful in my preparation for the LSAT. Prior to taking the course in the summer going into my senior year, I had completed a book of practice LSAT problems. However, even when I was getting questions right, I didnt always know how I had arrived at the answer. The TestMasters instructors truly take the time to review all of the question types, and make sure that you understand why the right answers are correct and why the wrong answers are not. The homework and diagnostics help to build up your ability and confidence as the test date grows nearer. In the middle of the summer, after Diagnostic 3, I was stuck at 158 and was unsure if I could succeed on the LSAT. I remember being frustrated and upset, but ultimately I was able to use this to motivate myself and work harder on the homework and, with a personal tutor provided by TestMasters, I peaked during the last month leading up to the exam. After scoring in the high 150s/low 160s, I was finally able to score consistently in the 163-165 range. The supplemental diagnostics TestMasters provides were helpful in getting used to the test and gauging my performance. On the final diagnostic I took, I scored a 165. Because it was during the week before the actual LSAT, I was able to have the confidence I needed going into the test. Throughout the actual LSAT, I told myself this was just another TestMasters diagnostic. Thanks to the realistic atmosphere of the diagnostics, the only added pressure I felt was the night before the test. I am so thrilled with my score and the teaching/training method of TestMasters.”

“TestMasters is hands down the best investment Ive ever made. I went up 22 points from my initial diagnostic solely from studying TestMasters methods and materials. Our instructor was an LSAT expert who could answer any question we had. He made himself available for as long as we needed help, no matter how much time it took. If you commit the time to use all that TestMasters has to offer, you will see a huge improvement in your score and your competitiveness in the application process. The cost of the class will be paid back tenfold in the forms of fee waivers, scholarships, and career opportunities based on your LSAT score. With my LSAT score increase, Im now competitive at the top 14 schools as compared to schools ranked in the sixties and seventies with my initial diagnostic score.”
| Megan McGlynn | University of Pennsylvania | Before TestMasters 156 | After TestMasters 172 |
“TestMasters was absolutely the right choice for me. Before I began the course, the LSAT seemed daunting; I didnt know where to start studying. TestMasters helped by breaking the test down into problem types and providing detailed explanations of how to solve each one. In addition, my instructor was both informative and engaging. By the end of the course I felt well-prepared to take the test, and I ultimately improved 16 points from my first diagnostic. TestMasters really made the difference for me. Anyone aiming for the top law schools should seriously consider this course.”
| Brian Wallen | Dickinson College | Before TestMasters 150 | After TestMasters 164 |
“TestMasters is not just a course, but an investment. The LSAT score I earned may be worth thousands of scholarship dollars, and law school may essentially become free. Listening to my instructor, as well as practicing the techniques endorsed by Robin Singh and the company not only taught me the form of the LSAT, but also taught me confidence. I knew around what my score would be well before the test, and I had reached such a comfort level that the actual test was nothing new. I am so happy I did research and found this course. I would highly recommend it to any students who have aspirations of outperforming their peers on such a difficult test.”
| Connor Sease | Penn State | Before TestMasters 143 | After TestMasters 158 |
“Taking the self-paced TestMasters online course was an amazing experience that I truly will never regret. Going into my first diagnostic test, I had no idea about the underlying concepts of the LSAT or how to approach the different questions; and my score reflected that, as I did poorly by my standards. It was a tough challenge as I had to balance my spring semester coursework with the rigorous TestMasters course in preparation for the June LSAT. However, the course proved well worth the investment and I performed better than I expected on test day. I was extremely happy with my results, and I feel that I could not have had a chance of getting into my dream law school without the assistance of TestMasters. And for that, I am very thankful.”
| Tomas Kisielius | Georgetown | Before TestMasters 159 | After TestMasters 180 |
“The TestMasters course set me up to be primed and poised going into the LSAT. The class sessions provided clear demonstrations of how to approach different types of questions, and the homework and practice drills cemented these approaches. I found the video explanations of difficult review problems to be particularly helpful as I studied on my own, as they ensured that I always understood why I chose the wrong answer. My instructor, Anthony Meni, was an experienced teacher who consistently engaged with the class. He made an effort to know what was going on in the lives of students, which allowed him to give more personalized advice on studying. He always made himself available outside of class to answer questions, and this was especially helpful as I tried to schedule practice tests and review work optimally in the several weeks right before the LSAT. Most importantly, he instilled in me the mentality that should be used to approach the actual test, which helped me more than any amount of content review could have.”
| Emily Brown | Haverford College | Before TestMasters 152 | After TestMasters 170 |
“I can say for sure that I would not have increased my score nearly as much as I did without TestMasters. My instructor was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. From answering the toughest questions from the homework, to encouraging us to make full use of the extensive online resources that TestMasters offers, to explaining logical reasoning in a way that was easy to understand and put into practice, she was instrumental in engaging the students in my class with the materials. For me, TestMasters was worth every penny!”
| Susan Yaster | Johns Hopkins University | Before TestMasters 149 | After TestMasters 168 |
“I am a high school math teacher, and that means working incredibly long hours. The TestMasters self-paced online course gave me the flexibility to study with my busy schedule. The online system is very straightforward and easy to follow. After watching the videos accompanying a lesson (usually about three hours), I would then complete the homework. Only after completing the homework can you go on to the next lesson, which ensures accountability and focus. This course would have been hard for me to do in person, but the online system allowed me to break up the lessons into an hour here or there, instead of committing to three straight hours during busy workweeks. This flexibility was key.
Additionally, Robin Singh really gets to the heart of the exam. I felt like I understood every part of the test so well that I was not nervous about anything unexpected popping up on test day. Instead, I felt confident about my plan of attack, about the types of questions, about the format, and about the endurance needed to make it through the entire test. The studying and time that you put in at TestMasters will pay off.”
| Steven Green | University of Pennsylvania | Before TestMasters 166 | After TestMasters 177 |
“To be honest, I’ve always been wary of test preparation programs because so many of them promise the world and then fall far short on delivery. TestMasters, on the other hand, truly stands apart. When I took my first diagnostic test, I scored a 166. Because I was actually pretty satisfied by this score without any preparation, I wondered how much TestMasters could help. When I received my score from test day and saw that I got a 177, I got my answer. I am very excited about my application possibilities now and I couldn’t have done it without TestMasters.
The key to the program’s success is its total mastery of the test itself. Robin Singh and his team have developed an intensive course that leaves no stone unturned and no concept untouched. No matter what your skill level is when you enter into the program, TestMasters sees to it that you excel. Many test preparation programs teach you tricks to try to get around the questions, but TestMasters teaches you how to beat the test makers at their own game. By the end of the course, I felt like I already knew the answer after reading the question stem. And by the time I walked into the test center and saw other students who were nervous, I was able to relax because I knew that I had been prepared by the best.
No matter what score you start off with, TestMasters can help you reach your goal score and beyond. I can’t emphasize enough how amazing of a program TestMasters is. Forget the other LSAT study guides, forget other prep classes, TestMasters is all you need to destroy the LSAT when test day comes around. I certainly would not have a 177 without TestMasters, and for that I will always be thankful.”
